How to take our pet on a trip?
Before doing anything, inform your ticket office so that they can reserve a place for the pet and get approval from the relevant airline.
When you want to hand over the pet at the airport, have these documents with you:
- Birth certificate or pet passport
- The original freight payment slip
- Completing the application form for performing living things
- For foreign trips, a valid health certificate from the veterinarian of the country of origin or destination, as well as a written confirmation of the airport’s veterinary quarantine
The cost of transporting a pet by plane:
Domestic birds: weight of the cage + weight of the animal multiplied by four
Other domestic animals: weight of the cage + weight of the animal multiplied by two
How about a pet cage?
- Write your name and contact number on the cage
- The cage should have enough space for the animal to stand naturally
- Be sure to lock the cage door.
These conditions are required to accept a pet at the airport:
- Get the AVIH code from the sales offices.
- To carry a pet dog or cat, ten to twelve weeks must have passed since birth.
- Each passenger is allowed to carry a maximum of two dogs or cats or ten ornamental birds.
